Alabama has been handling Vanderbilt all afternoon, and freshman QB Tua Tagovailoa got in on the action in the third quarter.
The No. 1 ranked Crimson Tide went to halftime with a 31-0 lead over the Commodores thanks to a pair of rushing TDs by both Bo Scarbrough and Damien Harris. Tagovailoa took over at QB for starter Jalen Hurts in the third quarter with the game well in hand, and the young southpaw is impressing fans with his dynamic play against Vanderbilt.
Tagovailoa recorded his second touchdown of the day on an absolutely extraordinary play in the third quarter. He evaded two Commodore defenders in the pocket with a nifty spin move before dropping an absolute dime to WR Devonta Smith in the end zone.

Tagovailoa has completed 7 of 9 passes for 94 yards and 2 TDs against Vanderbilt. Hurts may be the starter for now, but Tagovailoa looks like a star in the making.
