WATCH: UCF alum Blake Bortles has perfect response when asked about Knights’ undefeated season

These days you can claim a national championship without even playing for one, as we’ve found out from UCF following the program’s Peach Bowl victory over SEC West champion Auburn.
Blake Bortles, one of the program’s most notable alumni, just won his first career playoff game with the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Considering all the UCF hype in the news recently, NFL reporters took the opportunity to ask Bortles about his school during his postgame press conference in Jacksonville.
The NFL quarterback had only two words to say:
“National champs.”
