Saints fans may never live this one down.
Up by one with 10 seconds left in the game and playing a prevent defense, New Orleans somehow let Minnesota receiver Stefon Diggs get behind the entire defense on the field thanks to a simple missed tackle. 61-yards later, the Saints are going home for the long offseason. Saints defensive back Marcus Williams was the defender that made the big mistake on this one.
The play results in Minnesota beating New Orleans 29-24. The Vikings will now advance to the NFC Championship Game in Philadephia against the Eagles, set to be played Sunday.
