Nick Saban had everything planned out nicely.

The Crimson Tide would hold its national title parade on celebration on the weekend during a major recruiting weekend, allowing all of the prospects to see what it’s like to be a part of a championship program firsthand.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature got in the way of things on Saturday for Mecole Hardman Jr.

The nation’s top athlete and No. 13 overall player, according to 247Sports composite rankings, was unable to make his way from Georgia to Tuscaloosa because of inclement weather:

According to the recruiting site, Hardman visited Ohio State last weekend and received a visit from Georgia coach Kirby Smart earlier this week.

It will be interesting to see how not being able to get him to campus will impact Alabama’s chances of signing the highly coveted prospect.
