Break out the hand warmers and winter coats.
Several of Saturday’s SEC games could dip below freezing before the end of the fourth quarter.
A few may even kick off below the freezing mark and dip into the 20s, including Tennessee at Missouri (6:15 p.m. CT), forecast for 30 degrees.
Mississippi State-Arkansas, LSU-Ole Miss, Tennessee-Vanderbilt and Charlotte-Kentucky all will be miserable for any fan who decides to paint his chest and go shirtless in support of his team.
There shouldn’t be any snow across the region, at least not during the games. But fans in Lexington hoping to finally see a dominant performance by UK may be facing some light rain as temperatures threaten to fall below 40 degrees.
Elsewhere, in the Sunshine State, Florida should kick off to temperatures near 80 degrees. That’s practically a sauna compared to the other SEC games. But there could be scattered thunderstorms during that game as well.
Here’s the complete Week 12 forecast in the SEC.
