Its playoff hopes rest on Saturday’s SEC Championship Game against Florida. Win that, then the Crimson Tide can fret about whether it should be ranked No. 1 or No. 2 when the final four teams are unveiled at noon, ET, Dec. 6 (ESPN).

Alabama (11-1, 7-1 in SEC) is an early 17.5-point favorite over Florida in Saturday’s SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.

Blowouts are common in SEC title games, and given Florida’s offensive issues, most expect another Saturday.

Clemson (12-0) faces surging North Carolina in the ACC Championship Game on Saturday night in Charlotte.
