The SEC doesn’t start for another week (September 26), but college football is happening again Saturday. Thankfully, this is the last Saturday that SEC football won’t be played until December.
Week 3 potentially brings us one of the season’s worst slates on the schedule.
One of the better games will be UCF at Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets upset Florida State last weekend, and now, they’ll take on another Florida team in the Knights. UCF enters the season ranked 14th, too, after several players opted out.
The only ranked vs. ranked game is 17 Miami at 18 Louisville. College GameDay will be live Saturday morning from Louisville to help promote the matchup.
Below is a schedule of all the ranked teams in action during Week 3:
- Tulsa at 11 Oklahoma State (12 pm ET) on ESPN
- Austin Peay at 13 Cincinnati (12 pm ET) on ESPN+
- 19 Louisiana at Georgia State (12 pm ET) on ESPN2
- Syracuse at 25 Pittsburgh (12 pm ET) on ACC Network
- South Florida at 7 Notre Dame (2:30 pm ET) on USA Network
- 14 UCF at Georgia Tech (3:30 pm ET) on ABC
- 23 Appalachian State at Marshall (3:30 pm ET), CBS Sports
- The Citadel at 1 Clemson (4:00 pm ET) on ACC Network
- 17 Miami at 18 Louisville (7:30 pm ET) on ABC
Although there aren’t many great matchups, the fact that college football is being played is incredible for all fans. Enjoy it.
