West Virginia has an awesome new version of its “Country Roads” uniform for the 2023 season.

The Mountaineers are honoring the classic John Denver song “Take Me Home, Country Roads” in style this fall. After last season’s white “Country Roads” uniforms, WVU is going with the primary color gold this fall.
The jersey features impressively detailed road maps in the numbers and “Cue Country Roads” on the collar. This year’s “Country Roads” uniforms are set to be worn when West Virginia and Pittsburgh face off in the Backyard Brawl on Sept. 16.

The Mountaineers open the 2023 season at No. 7 Penn State on Sept. 2, set to air on NBC at 7:30 p.m.
