Three-star defensive back prospect Chris Westry has flipped his commitment from Auburn University to the University of Kentucky, according to the football program at his high school in Orange Park, Fla. and confirmed by 247Sports.

Westry initially committed to Auburn last July, but flipped his commitment following an official visit to Kentucky last weekend and a home visit from members of the Kentucky coaching staff on Tuesday morning.

The No. 86 cornerback prospect in the class of 2015 has an official visit scheduled with either Arkansas or Florida this weekend and another scheduled with Auburn at the end of the month on the final weekend before National Signing Day.

Westy is now one of 18 commits in Kentucky’s current recruiting class, 15 of which are three-star prospects. He’s the second-highest rated cornerback in UK’s current class, trailing only Kel Beckham, regarded as the No. 55 cornerback prospect in the class of 2015.
