The Georgia Bulldogs took care of business against the Florida Gators on Saturday afternoon, winning the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party 36-17.
It was the Bulldogs’ second-straight win over the Gators, but their first over new Florida coach Dan Mullen.
After the game, Mullen spoke about the Bulldogs a little bit, as you can see in the video below, shared by Florida Gators on YouTube:
“This rivalry is always going to be a great rivalry,” he said. “I don’t think there’s a moral victory in anything, but I think there’s a lot we can learn from this game as a team and as a program moving forward.”
He also credited the Georgia offensive line for keeping QB Jake Fromm clean in the pocket:
“They did a nice job protecting him,” he said. “How many sacks did we have today? One? That’s not the way to help young corners.”
Florida will try to regroup with a homecoming game against Mizzou next weekend. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs head to Lexington to play Kentucky in what will likely be an SEC East title game.
