What Eli Drinkwitz said after Mizzou’s win at South Carolina

Missouri notched its third win of the season on Saturday, defeating South Carolina 17-10 on the road. Getting to three wins in just six games wasn’t lost on coach Eli Drinkwitz, in the postgame press conference he reminded reporters about predictions that Mizzou would get just two wins.

“I’ve got a couple (of) screenshots of people only predicting us to win two games this year. They can have their screenshots back,” Drinkwitz told reporters. “That for me is the biggest thing, for our team to have a chip on our shoulder.”

Drinkwitz emphasized that he is proud of his first Mizzou team while also touching on COVID numbers, individual performances and more:
