What Jimbo Fisher said after Texas A&M’s loss to Georgia

In the SEC’s biggest game of the day, Texas A&M fell to Georgia 19-13 in Sanford Stadium.

The Aggies offense came alive late in the second half, but Georgia’s defense (and running game) proved to be the difference. Quarterback Kellen Mond finished 25-of-42 for 275 yards and one touchdown; however, Texas A&M rushed for negative one yard. That’s not a typo. Yes, the rushing number was skewed due to sacks, but it speaks to Georgia’s defense — particularly the defensive line — controlling much of the game.

It was an overall frustrating loss for the Aggies, who had a chance to get the lead in the fourth quarter, but the drive stopped short due to an incompletion (and no pass interference call).
