What Joe Moorhead said after Mississippi State’s shutout loss at Alabama

In the 2018 season, Joe Moorhead is getting his first taste of SEC football as a head coach. Saturday, Moorhead faced his division’s juggernaut, Alabama.
Moorhead’s Bulldogs fell 24-0 in Tuscaloosa to the No. 1 Crimson Tide. After the game, he answered reporters’ questions on Nick Fitzgerald’s performance, Leo Lewis’ absence as well as a controversial call.
He also shared some of his overall thoughts on the game and his team’s performance. Here’s a sampling of what Moorhead had to say in his press conference:

Moorhead believes Fitzgerald delivered some accurate balls in the face of a good defense. He also believes some reads could have been better, he’ll review the film to get a better evaluation.
