What Mike Leach told Lane Kiffin after Mississippi State beat Ole Miss in Egg Bowl

Mike Leach was gracious to Lane Kiffin after Mississippi State beat Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl on Thursday night.
As they met on the field, Leach appeared to say, “Hey, good luck to you, man. If you ever meet us here, in Florida or something [inaudible]. Hey, hey hopefully they lay off you a little bit.”
Leach and Kiffin certainly have a unique relationship, especially among coaches in a rivalry situation.
Leach famously snapped Kiffin’s mask at the start of the pandemic, and Kiffin often responds on social media to Leach’s unique responses to giving wedding advice, Halloween candy and mascots.
Leach is known to spend time in Key West, Florida, so perhaps that’s what he referred to with Kiffin.
