Alabama has continued its dominance at the top of another form of rankings for another week.

Every week, college football expert Phil Steele (formerly of ESPN) puts out his Vegas Power Ratings, a system that features his plus/minus ratings resembling Vegas numbers, using three casinos as sources. As Steele describes them, “This is not the AP poll but gives you an idea of how much teams would be favored over another team if they met on a neutral field.”

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Crimson Tide remain in the top spot heading into Week 12 of the SEC season. They’re 9-0 and have already secured their spot in the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 19. Alabama is also ranked No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings and the AP Top 25 poll.

There are three SEC teams not far behind Alabama in the Vegas Power Ratings — Florida (No. 4), Texas A&M (No. 6) and Georgia (No. 7) are all having strong seasons and being rewarded by this system.

Here’s where every SEC team currently ranks in these ratings:

  • No. 1 Alabama (144.67 Vegas Rating)
  • No. 4 Florida (131.85)
  • No. 6 Texas A&M (129.01)
  • No. 7 Georgia (128.94)
  • No. 23 Auburn (118.13)
  • No. 37 Ole Miss (113.89)
  • No. 38 LSU (113.73)
  • No. 44 Missouri (113.07)
  • No. 45 Arkansas (112.47)
  • No. 46 Tennessee (111.91)
  • No. 54 Kentucky (110.65)
  • No. 67 Mississippi State (107.45)
  • No. 100 South Carolina (97.14)
  • No. 103 Vanderbilt (95.65)
