Every week, CBS Sports updates its rankings of all 131 FBS programs. The updated list has been released following Week 7.
There were some major shakeups, as could be expected after Alabama lost to Tennessee. The Vols jumped to the No. 3 spot, while Alabama fell to No. 6.
Ohio State took the No. 1 spot. From there, here’s where every SEC team stood in the updated FBS rankings:
- No. 2 — Georgia
- No. 3 — Tennessee
- No. 6 — Alabama
- No. 8 — Ole Miss
- No. 22 — Kentucky
- No. 23 — Mississippi State
- No. 24 — LSU
- No. 32 — Arkansas
- No. 37 — South Carolina
- No. 40 — Florida
- No. 44 — Texas A&M
- No. 70 — Auburn
- No. 73 — Mizzou
- No. 90 — Vanderbilt
