If you’re an Alabama fan, you’d be happy if we were still in the BCS era. If you’re an Oklahoma fan, not as much.

BCSKnowHow.com, a site that still calculates the BCS formula and makes its standings public, released the latest BCS standings after Week 13 action. If we were still using that system, Clemson and Alabama would be in line to play for the national championship.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma, Iowa and Michigan State would be the next three teams on the outside looking in. The Sooners, who are on a seven-game winning streak while beating Baylor, TCU and Oklahoma State in each of its last three games, is the Big 12 champion. Iowa is No. 4 despite being one of only two unbeaten FBS teams along with Clemson.

It’s interesting to note that the simulated top 6 below is perfectly identical to the latest AP Poll.
