It’s one thing to be confident.
Especially with a 2-4 record, it’s another to be cocky. The Missouri Tigers were certainly below .500 heading into today’s home game against Middle Tennessee State, but prior to the contest, Missouri’s Journalism school tweeted this out:
The game ended up in a 51-45 defeat for the Tigers, which makes this tweet, well, hilarious. Missouri is now 2-5 on the season and its lone FBS win this season was against Eastern Michigan.
The account has since deleted its post.
