Will Campbell went to the hospital Friday night and missed LSU’s Saturday game against No. 8 Tennessee. After the game, Tigers coach Brian Kelly addressed Campbell’s health.

According to reporters in Baton Rouge, Kelly described Campbell’s health scare as “an episode” that happened during Friday’s walk-through, leading to EMS being called.

Before Saturday’s kickoff, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that Campbell was hospitalized due to dehydration. Kelly indicated after the game that Campbell may be dealing with other issues.

Campbell, a highly touted freshman, had started LSU’s first 5 games. The Tigers play at Florida in Week 7.
