Will Muschamp announces injury updates, player availability for Saturday

There wasn’t much new information Tuesday when coach Will Muschamp updated South Carolina’s injury situation.
Freshman OL Wyatt Campbell, who had a scope on a meniscus to repair a high school knee injury, is still about a month away, the coach said.
Wide receiver Chad Terrell, who suffered a torn ACL last season against Tennessee, is still not expected back until the end of September. Running back Lavonte Valentine, who also is recovering from an ACL injury, is another week or so away from his return.
Chavis Dawkins, a backup wide receiver and special teams player, is doubtful for Saturday with a high ankle sprain suffered in the preseason.
The Gamecocks are set to open their season at noon ET on Saturday against Coastal Carolina on the SEC Network.
