South Carolina will be without defender Jahmar Brown for “a couple of weeks” as the sophomore is set to have a scope performed on his knee, according to Will Muschamp on Thursday evening during his weekly in-season “Carolina Calls” radio show.
“He is going to have a scope done and should be back within a couple of weeks,” Muschamp said, according to 247Sports.com. “We’ll get Jahmar back before the year is over.”
Brown recorded 6 tackles during an Oct. 24 loss to LSU, the only game he has played this season. He sustained an injury to his knee before the season began that has kept him sidelined for most of 2020.
Last year, he played in 5 games, recording 6 tackles and forcing a fumble.
