Will Muschamp was as proud as can be on the sideline when his son, Jackson Muschamp, scampered 14 yards for a first down late in Georgia’s rout of Florida State in the Orange Bowl.

The co-defensive coordinator for Georgia was bombarded by players who shared in his excitement as the game was well in hand at 63-3. The broadcasters on the call, Joe Tessitore and Jesse Palmer, also enjoyed the development.

“I want to see that smile on a dad,” Tessitore proclaimed. “Look at dad!”

Palmer added, “Boom Muschamp on the sideline, he’s holding the teammates back.”

Tessitore: “He’s saying, ‘That’s my son out there, coach! Will’s saying, ‘Look at Jackson go for 14 yards in the Orange Bowl.”

Jackson Muschamp was the 4th Georgia QB in the game, as Georgia poured it on and coasted to a huge win in Miami.
