The South Carolina Gamecocks went into Athens on Saturday afternoon and took down No. 3 Georgia in double overtime.
It was a gutsy win for a South Carolina program that has suffered numerous injuries this season. On Saturday, freshman QB Ryan Hilinski (already a backup to original 2019 starter Jake Bentley) was injured during the game, leaving the team in the hands of Dakereon Joyner.
For the coaching job he did on Saturday, South Carolina coach Will Muschamp was named the Dodd Trophy Coach of the Week:

The Gamecocks improved to 3-3 with the win, keeping their bowl hopes alive as they continue to navigate a tough schedule.
They’ll host Florida this weekend in another huge game in the SEC East.
