Will Rogers breaks Mississippi State record held by Dak Prescott
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Will Rogers and the Mississippi State Bulldogs like to throw the football. That’s a given, considering the head coach is Mike Leach.
But, Rogers is having a strong year in the Air Raid system. And, he’s already making school history.
Rogers completed his 317th pass of the season during Saturday night’s game against Kentucky. That sets a new school record, breaking the mark set by current NFL star Dak Prescott:
Will Rogers (317) now has the most completions by an MSU quarterback in a single season. There are four games left.
Previous record was held by Dak Prescott.

And, as mentioned in the tweet above, Rogers still has 3 more full games to go after Saturday night’s game against Kentucky.
Who knows how many passes Rogers will complete by the end of the year? The previous Prescott record is seemingly about to be shattered.
