Will Sheppard and the Colorado Buffaloes picked up a huge win on Saturday by defeating UCF in dominant fashion, 48-21. The Buffaloes entered the game a 13.5-point underdog, but they dominated the game from start to finish to move to 4-1.
Sheppard had a big game for Colorado, as he finished the game with 4 catches for 99 yards and a 47-yard touchdown.
He made a statement during the game, and he also made one after the game when talking about his former school, Vanderbilt.
Former Vanderbilt receiver Will Sheppard referenced Vanderbilt in his postgame presser when asked if today was Colorado’s most complete win since he’s arrived.

“I mean, if you know where I came from, Vanderbilt, that is the most complete win I have had,” Sheppard told reporters after the game about it being a complete win.
During Sheppard’s final 3 years at Vanderbilt the Commodores won only 9 games, with the 5 in 2022 being the most. At 4-1, he is only 1 win away from tying that, and only 2 games from becoming bowl eligible.
The performance against UCF was his best so far for Colorado, as he now has 17 catches for 247 yards and 1 touchdown on the season.
