Will Wade comments on 5-star F Trendon Watford signing with LSU

The LSU Tigers are looking like they’ll be stacked again in 2019-20, as Javonte Smart, Emmitt Williams, Marlon Taylor and Skylar Mays are all returning to school.
Then, the Tigers and coach Will Wade scored a major win on the recruiting trail, too, landing a commitment from 5-star PF Trendon Watford recently — the No. 1 player from Alabama.
During SEC spring meetings on Wednesday, Wade said he’s thrilled to have Watford heading to Baton Rouge this fall:

Watford was a McDonald’s All-American this past season and led his Mountain Brook team to three-straight state titles.
Having him in the spot Naz Reid occupied last season will help the Tigers continue to compete for SEC titles.
