Williams Nwaneri, No. 1 DL in 2024 cycle, announces SEC commitment

Williams Nwaneri, the No. 1 overall defensive lineman in the Class of 2024 rankings, announced Monday that he will play college football at Missouri.
Nwaneri is one of the most physically gifted players in the 2024 cycle and will stay home in committing to Missouri. The 6-5, 250-pound lineman hails from Lee’s Summit North HS, just outside of Kansas City.
He chose the Tigers over Georgia and Oklahoma. He is the highest-rated pledge in modern history for Missouri.

Nwaneri is considered to be the No. 3 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, as well as the No. 1 DL and No. 1 player out of the state of Missouri.
