Woodbridge, Virginia OL RJ Adams is getting close to making his commitment and signing with that team.

Adams told Brian Dohn of 247Sports this week that he’ll be deciding between N.C. State, Kentucky and Alabama and announcing his pledge Tuesday, the eve of the Early Signing Period.

The 6-3, 326-pounder is a 3-star recruit, rated the No. 8 Virginia product, No. 16 offensive guard and No. 375 prospect nationally on the 247Sports Composite. According to his 247Sports recruiting profile, Adams has been busy the past few weekends, visiting Tennessee (Nov. 2), Alabama (Nov. 9), Kentucky (Nov. 23) and N.C. State (Nov. 30 and Dec. 6).

Adams says he has built relationships Alabama assistants Charles Huff and Kyle Flood. On his visit, he was impressed that coach Nick Saban took the time to greet every recruit even after the disappointing loss to LSU.

For his Kentucky visit, he called the Lexington atmosphere a pleasant surprise.
