The Women’s College World Series begins in Oklahoma City on Thursday.

The final 8 teams will play throughout the weekend to determine the 2023 National Champion. The teams still alive in the NCAA Tournament are Oklahoma, Florida State, Tennessee, Alabama, Oklahoma State, Washington, Stanford and Utah.

All 8 teams were regional hosts for this year’s tournament. Four of the top 5 seeds in the NCAA Tournament made it all the way to Oklahoma City. No. 2-seeded UCLA, who lost in the regional round, is the lone exception.

This year’s field includes 2 SEC programs, 2 Big 12 teams, 3 Pac-12 squad and 1 group from the ACC.

Tennessee and Alabama will start things off on Thursday at 12 p.m. ET. It’s a double-elimination tournament, so an early loss won’t necessarily prevent a team from reaching the championship series.
