A WWE title belt is going to be awarded as a part of the Big 12’s partnership with the WWE.

On Thursday, the Big 12 announced a new collaboration with the WWE as part of the 2023 Dr. Pepper Big 12 Championship Game. That game is set for Dec. 2 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

As a part of that partnership, the Most Outstanding Player of the Big 12 championship will receive a custom-made WWE title belt. The belt will be presented on the field at the end of the game and will be presented by a WWE Superstar.

The partnership will include a co-branded “WWE x Big 12” logo throughout the stadium and on the field. WWE Superstars will also be utilized “prominently” in the week leading up to the game and during the game itself as a part of a Big 12 community event, pre-game hospitality events and the game’s coin toss.

“WWE is a global brand that connects with a wide array of audiences,” said Commissioner Brett Yormark. “With this partnership, we will integrate WWE and its brand power into one of the Conference’s biggest moments, further strengthening the bridge between sports and entertainment throughout the Big 12.”

Per the release, the WWE and Big 12 will also collaborate on an exclusive merchandise line centered around the Big 12 championship. Those items will be available online and throughout AT&T Stadium team stores.
