YouTube TV announced Thursday night it has reached a new deal with FOX to keep various FOX networks on the platform.

The 2 sides were locked in a bit of a stalemate earlier this week ahead of a Wednesday deadline to extend their carriage agreement. On Wednesday, YouTube TV announced it had reached a “short-term extension” with the network to provide immediate relief for college football fans who were concerned about missing Week 1 action.

On Thursday, the live TV service announced it had agreed to a full extension of its deal with FOX.

FOX will carry coverage of Saturday’s top-5 showdown between No. 1 Texas and No. 3 Ohio State. Kickoff in that game is set for noon ET, and fans were feeling antsy that they might need to find an alternate option to watch the game.

The Week 2 matchup between Michigan and Oklahoma is scheduled to air on ABC.

FOX is the Big Ten’s primary media partner for the Big Ten this season. Any disruption would have had major implications for Big Ten fans early in 2025.

But those fears are no more. An agreement between the 2 sides ensures college football fans won’t miss a second.
