Zach Arnett is playing his card close to the chest when it comes to his bye-week injury report.

He dialed in to meet with reporters at the SEC’s weekly teleconference Wednesday afternoon. Specifically, he updated a few injuries to Will Rogers and Jo’Quavious Marks, saying the “guys are doing good.”

Here’s his full comments:

“Guys are doing good. Same thing for our entire roster, right,” Arnett said. “We played 6 straight games, we’re utilizing this bye week, got a lot of guys, who, when you get into the football season get nicks, bumps, bruises, and so we’re maximizing this for those guys who’ve played a whole bunch of snaps, getting them rested and recuperated and continuing to evaluate them on a daily basis, and obviously that will go on next week before determine anyone’s final availability for that game.”

Arnett did not have an update on Kyle Ferrie heading into the bye week:

“No update to report,” Arnett said. “He’s kind of rolled into on the roughing the kicker penalty. So we’re eliminating some reps on him, but we’ve got every reason to believe that he’ll be fine as we go into the 2nd half of the season.”

The Bulldogs are back in action next Saturday as they take on Arkansas, looking to extend their win streak to 2 after downing Western Michigan last week.
