Zach Farrar has worn many uniforms during his college football career.

Now the former Auburn receiver is set to try on one more before his collegiate playing career comes to an end.

There may not be another player in the history of college football that’s had a road as winding as Farrar’s journey as the Texas native is looking for his sixth home in six college seasons after recently entering the NCAA transfer portal.

The former Southlake Carroll product committed to Mississippi State during his high school career, only to flip and sign with Oklahoma leading up to the 2016 National Signing Day. A flipped commitment right before a signing period isn’t that unusual but it was a sign of things to come for the Texas native during his time in college.

Farrar would later enroll at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College before transferring to Youngstown State.

He then made his way to Auburn for a season before transferring to TCU for the 2020 football season. Now he’s decided to enter the transfer portal once again after being at TCU for less than six months.

During his time with Auburn, Farrar caught three passes for 41 yards and scored two touchdowns.
