247Sports ranks Patterson as the No. 5 safety and No. 12 prospect from his home state of Florida. He comes in at 6-feet tall, and 185 pounds out of Chaminade-Madonna Prep.
Patterson has garnered interest from a host of SEC schools. Other than Auburn he has offers from Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M. LSU, and Ole Miss.
It could be a tough task for the Tigers to convince Patterson to leave Florida with both Florida State and Miami in his top five. Auburn currently has five players signed up from the 2024 class. All of them are four star commits except for 3-star athlete Martavious Collins.
A new head coach will be on the Auburn sideline in 2023. Hugh Freeze is returning to the SEC after last coaching Liberty. Freeze’s previous SEC job was with Ole Miss from 2012-2016.
What school could use Patterson best in their system? There are a lot of good options to pick from.
