Zeb Noland shares hilarious text his dad sent while he was getting stitched up during Georgia game

Unfortunately for South Carolina quarterback Zeb Noland, his return home Saturday night was cut short.
The 6-2, 232-pound graduate student from Watkinsville, Georgia started for the Gamecocks in Athens against the No. 2 Bulldogs, but he was forced to leave in the first quarter after sustaining a hand injury.
Noland was taken to the locker room to get stitches, but he rushed back to the field after hearing from his father, Travis, who texted, “Get your butt back out there.”
Noland said that his dad, Travis, who coaches HS at nearby Oconee County, texted him while he was getting stitches and told him to "get your butt back out there."
Zeb joked he put his phone down and got right on back out of the locker room.

Travis Noland is a high school football coach at Oconee County High School, and the younger Noland did as he was told. He was unable to return to the game, however, as he was having trouble getting feeling back in the injured hand.
Sophomore Luke Doty replaced Noland and completed 13 of 26-passes for 153 yards, a touchdowns, and an interception.
As Noland continues to rehab his injured hand, Doty will get the start for the Gamecocks on Saturday for their home game with Kentucky.
South Carolina coach Shane Beamer said earlier this week that they’ll know closer to game time if Noland will be available against the Wildcats.
For the season, Noland has completed 27-of-47 passes for 407 yards, 5 touchdowns, and an interception.
