Zykie Helton, 4-star OL, includes 3 SEC programs in top 7

Zykie Helton, a 4-star offensive lineman in the Class of 2026, announced Monday that he has cut his list of offers down to just 7, including 3 SEC programs.
The SEC representatives in question are Alabama, Texas A&M and Georgia. Also in the mix for Helton are Miami, Indiana, Florida State and Colorado.
Helton hails from Carrollton High School in Georgia near the border with Alabama, meaning excluding offers such as Florida, South Carolina and Auburn. He stands at 6-2, 280 pounds and best projects as an interior offensive lineman at the college level.

Helton is considered to be the No. 259 overall prospect in the Class of 2026, as well as the No. 21 IOL and No. 30 player out of the state of Georgia. Helton was at one time committed to Alabama before Nick Saban announced his retirement at the end of last season.
Of course, Alabama is still in the mix, as is his home state school Georgia. Of the programs on this list the Bulldogs were the first to offer Helton, all the way back in May of 2023.
