The multi-week event features $65,000 in guaranteed prizes, challenging sports fans to prove their analytical abilities across nearly a month of high-stakes DFS action.
Spanning 26 days and featuring 15 distinct events, the World Series of Picks is designed to reward both individual event winners and the most consistent players throughout the tournament. Each individual event in the series features a dual-layered payout structure. To ensure fairness and reward skill, 50% of each prize pool is awarded based on the number of correct entries a player wins, while the remaining 50% is distributed based on total winnings. Every event pays out the top 50 finishers on the leaderboard, creating a broad field of potential winners.

“(This is) the ultimate multi-week showdown where every pick counts,” Boom Sports stated in an announcement. “From start to finish, every contest is a new chance to climb the leaderboard and cash.”
The crowning jewel of the competition is the Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award. Unlike traditional daily contests where one bad day can end a run, the MVP race rewards sustained excellence. Players earn MVP points for every dollar won in event payouts and for every top-50 finish. At the end of the 26-day series, the 50 players with the highest cumulative point totals will split the dedicated MVP prize pool.
The series also highlights Boom’s “Pick & Spin” mode, a unique DFS format where players can win up to 500x their entry by spinning a multiplier wheel. For the World Series, “High Roller” versions of these events require a minimum $10 entry, specifically targeting players looking for the highest possible returns.
