Buffalo Bills punter booms insane 82-yard punt vs. Indianapolis Colts

Buffalo Bills punter Matt Araiza was a favorite among diehard college football fans last year at San Diego State.
That’s understandable, considering the thunder-footed punter led the FBS level in average yards per punt at 51.2.
Now, as a sixth-round pick of the Bills from the 2022 NFL Draft, Araiza is up to his old tricks in the pro ranks. During his preseason debut on Saturday, Araiza launched an insane 82-yard punt, as you can see below:

Yes, kicking it 82 yards for a touchback means it only netted 62 yards, but that average would have led the NFL by 10 yards in 2021.
It’s not often a punter becomes a popular player on a team, especially one with Super Bowl aspirations like Buffalo, but as long as he’s only kicking 2-3 times a game, Araiza’s time on the field could be a real treat for Bills fans.
