The New York Giants handled the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football, 34-17, and the rookie quarterback-running back duo in New York took over.

Former Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart went 17-for-25 for 195 yards and 1 touchdown through the air. He added 58 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown. Former Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo carried the ball 19 times for 98 yards and found himself in the end zone 3 different times.

In a game that meant so much for Giants fans and their team’s future, there was only one way to celebrate. During the postgame show on the TNF set, Skattebo and Ryan Fitzpatrick both ripped their shirts off while Dart urged on the crowd to chant Skattebo’s name.

It seems that Skattebo has already grown on the Giant’s fanbase. There’s no doubt he’s a fan favorite, and these moments show why he is such a liked player.

As for the Eagles, it’s back to the drawing board to try and fix their offense. The Eagles could not get Saquon Barkley going at all in the game; he carried the ball just 12 times for 58 yards. It made the offense one-dimensional and forced quarterback Jalen Hurts to throw the ball more than the Eagles would’ve liked to.
