The Dallas Cowboys started strong in their Christmas Day game against rival Washington, scoring on all 4 of their first-half possessions to notch a 24-10 lead. When the offense is humming, it often means the quarterback is playing well.

Dak Prescott was only 11-of-20 passing, but his completions were highly productive, as he threw for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns through the first 2 quarters. Those 2 touchdowns give Prescott 30 for the season, which is a milestone in franchise history.

The Cowboys noted that this is the 4th time Prescott has thrown 30 TDs in a season. The Mississippi State great is now tied with Tony Romo for the most 30-TD seasons in franchise history.

No. 30 came on an 86-yard score by speedster Kavonte Turpin. Prescott hit Turpin in stride around midfield, and no Washington was going to catch him with green grass in front of him.

The 2nd half of the Cowboys-Commanders can be seen on Netflix. Prescott will try to add to his season TD total.
