Our NFL Divisional Round Playoff Picks
Andrew Olson
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: Higher than 229.5 passing yards
This feels like it might be the year of the Harbaughs if Jackson and the Ravens stay focused. In a game where both quarterbacks command the spotlight, I like Jackson to make some big-time throws.
Christin McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: Higher than 91.5 rushing yards
I’m picking against Green Bay’s vulnerable rushing defense again. The Packers defeated Dallas in stunning fashion. I have my doubts that the 49ers fall behind 27-0. McCaffrey should get his touches in a tighter game.
James Cook, Buffalo Bills: Higher than 82.5 rush+receiving yards
Cook had a big game in Kansas City this season, rushing for 58 yards and adding 83 receiving yards. Mahomes and Allen in the playoffs usually means lots of big plays on offense. I like Cook to be a major contributor against the Chiefs, this time at home.

Gus Edwards, Baltimore Ravens: Higher than 13.5 rushing attempts
Houston has to leave the comfort of its dome to come play in the elements at Baltimore. The Ravens would be favored in this game no matter where it was played, but I expect them to build a lead early. That means they’ll try to control the clock with the running game. Gus Edwards is a great option to grind down the clock, so I like him to tote the ball 14+ times on Saturday afternoon.
Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers: Higher than 42.5 receiving yards
Reed had 0 catches on 3 targets in last week’s win over the Dallas Cowboys. If the Packers are going to pull off another upset, they’ll need to get the ball in Reed’s hands a few times. He’s a player who is explosive enough to post 43+ yards on 1-2 touches, but I expect QB Jordan Love and head coach Matt LaFleur to scheme up ways to get Reed the ball early and often on Saturday night.
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: Higher than 90.5 receiving yards
St. Brown has been on a tear to end the season. He had 7 catches for 144 yards in the regular-season finale against Minnesota, then followed it up with 7 catches for 110 yards against the Los Angeles Rams last weekend in the Wild Card round. Tampa Bay’s pass defense is sketchy at best, so I like St. Brown to do his thing and go for 100+ yards again on Sunday afternoon.
