DraftKings DFS season is winding down for NFL lovers, as there are only 3 games left this postseason — Sunday’s NFC and AFC Championship Games and Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, February 11.

But this weekend is still a great chance for daily fantasy sports enthusiasts to get in on the action and try to win some big-time money. Yes, it’s only a 2-game slate, but there is still plenty of value out there on the board over at DraftKings Fantasy.

In this article, I’ll break down my favorite value plays for the upcoming NFL weekend. But first …

Quarterback: Jared Goff, Detroit Lions ($6,300)

Baker Mayfield snagged the headlines last week for his huge numbers in the Buccaneers’ loss to the Lions, but he had 2 interceptions in addition to his 3 touchdowns. Goff, on the other hand, continues to be ruthlessly efficient. He’s completed an impressive 74.3% of his passes so far this postseason for 564 yards, 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Considering Brock Purdy’s lackluster play last week, Goff is the value option this weekend if you don’t want to pay up for Patrick Mahomes or Lamar Jackson, both of whom go against elite defenses.

Running back: Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions ($6,400)

Gibbs had an outstanding performance last weekend against Tampa Bay. The versatile running back ran only 9 times, but managed to turn those 9 carries into 72 yards and a touchdown. He also added 4 catches for 40 yards. Posting 112 yards and a touchdown on only 13 touches? Now that’s efficiency! Maybe the Lions will increase his workload this weekend. He and David Montgomery both got 13 touches last week, but Gibbs made the most of his. He deserves 20+ touches against the Niners, even if he’s not quite as efficient as he was last weekend.

Wide receiver: Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs ($6,500)

I’m going to keep mentioning Rice as a value play until DraftKings bumps him up into the $7,000 range where he probably belongs. Yes, he only had 4 catches for 47 yards last week, but he had 12 targets (making 8 grabs for 130 yards and a score) the previous week against Miami. Yes, Baltimore has one of the best defenses in the league, but after TE Travis Kelce caught 2 touchdowns last week against Buffalo, expect the Ravens to do everything they can to limit the star tight end. That should leave Rice open for more than 4 targets on Sunday afternoon.

Wide receiver: Nelson Agholor, Baltimore Ravens ($3,800)

If you really need some savings at the receiver position, you can do a lot worse than Nelson Agholor as a punt option. He had 2 receptions on 4 targets for 12 yard and a touchdown against the Texans last week. Should we expect another touchdown from him this weekend? Perhaps not, but it’s clear Lamar Jackson trusts Agholor enough to throw him the ball in key situations. If he can put up 3 catches for 40 yards against the Chiefs, he can pay off at his salary even without finding the end zone.

Tight end: George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers ($5,300)

The Lions have struggled to defend the pass this year. Kittle, meanwhile, is coming off a solid performance against the Green Bay Packers, where he posted 7 catches for 81 yards and a touchdown. He’s seemingly fully healthy for this game and is a value compared to Travis Kelce ($6,600) and Sam LaPorta ($5,400). Putting Kittle in your lineup over a guy like Kelce will not only save you $1,200 that you can use to try to fit both Christian McCaffrey and Amon-Ra St. Brown into your lineup — it’s also very possible that Kittle simply outperforms Kelce, who has to face a very tough Baltimore defense.

D/ST: Kansas City Chiefs ($2,900)

Obviously, like at the QB position, there are only so many options this weekend. Kansas City offers you the chance to save $400 or $300 if you pick the Chiefs instead of San Francisco or Baltimore. And there’s a decent chance they can help that decision pay off. The Chiefs have been a solid defense all year long. They have a couple of guys who can at least force a sack or 2 against Lamar Jackson. They have one of the top secondaries in the league and might be able to snag an interception, as well. Baltimore-Kansas City has more of a chance of being a low-scoring game than San Francisco-Detroit, so plugging the Chiefs into your lineup makes a lot of sense.
