Ernest Jones, former USC LB, blown away by his own stats following Super Bowl victory

Ernest Jones IV was shocked and gave us a hilarious moment when Chris Berman revealed that he finished with 11 tackles in the Super Bowl.
The 3rd-round pick out of South Carolina had himself quite the game. He totaled 11 tackles, 10 of which were solo tackles, and 1 tackle for loss. The linebacker was all over the field, making plays and helping shut down Drake Maye and the Patriots offense that could only total 13 points.
“Who had 11?” Jones asked when Berman read the stat aloud. “Ooh, okay. That sounds great.”
The Seattle linebacker was on a tear in the 2025 postseason. In just 3 games, he totaled 25 tackles, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble.
Jones is in his fifth season in the NFL and his second season with the Seattle Seahawks. In 15 games this year, Jones totaled 126 tackles, 0.5 sacks, and 5 interceptions. He is a centerpiece of the Mike Macdonald defense and was re-signed back in March of 2025 to a 3-year, $33 million contract.
Jones is now a 2-time Super Bowl Champion as he won back in his rookie season in 2021 with the Los Angeles Rams. He appeared in 15 games that year and started 7. He did start in the Super Bowl and recorded 7 tackles and 1 sack in the Rams’ victory.
