Having lost out on the Buffalo Bills head coaching job to Bills assistant Joe Brady, former Alabama offensive coordinator and New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll is reportedly set to become the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans.
ESPN reported Tuesday that Daboll is poised to land the Titans job if he isn’t tapped to become the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. If hired by the Titans, Daboll would be working with new head coach Robert Saleh, who served as head coach of the New York Jets at the same time that Daboll was coaching the Giants.

Daboll, who earned 2022 AP NFL Coach of the Year honors, was fired by the Giants on Nov. 10 after going 20-40-1. Daboll was Nick Saban’s offensive coordinator at Alabama in 2017 – a Crimson Tide team that went 13-1 and won the CFP national title via a thrilling 26-23 overtime win against Georgia due in part to the halftime benching of starting quarterback Jalen Hurts in favor of Tua Tagovailoa.
After Alabama, Daboll was back in the NFL as the offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills from 2018-21 before heading to New York to coach the Giants. Daboll also was offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns (2009-10), Miami Dolphins (2011) and Kansas City Chiefs (2012).
