Jordan Jenkins can’t escape the injury bug.
The former Georgia Bulldog was signed by the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday after the defensive end was released by the Houston Texans last Monday. But he went down with a right leg injury in Saturday night’s preseason game against the Miami Dolphins and will miss the 2022 season.
Las Vegas Raiders outside linebacker Jordan Jenkins, a former Texans and Jets player, was placed on injured reserve due to knee injury diagnosed as a torn ACL, according to league sources @PFN365 #Raiders

Jenkins, listed at 6-foot-3, 260 pounds, was a third-round selection (83rd overall) by the New York Jets in the 2016 NFL Draft. He spent five seasons with the Jets before signing a two-year, $6 million contract with the Texans in 2021.
Injuries have derailed Jenkins’ career over the past few years. He finished his career with the Jets on the injured reserve and suffered a torn PCL in Week 11 last season that forced the Texans to place him on injured reserve.
Jenkins had 204 tackles (39 for loss) and 19 sacks in 49 games with the Bulldogs from 2012-15.
