Former Tennessee QB Josh Dobbs is on the move again.
On a busy day of NFL free agency, Dobbs was one of the many players to land a new opportunity. The New England Patriots are bringing in Dobbs on a 2-year deal. According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero, the deal is worth up to $8 million, with Dobbs guaranteed to receive $3.8 million.
Playing for Tennessee from 2013-16, Dobbs was a second-team All-SEC selection in his senior season. Dobbs was a 4th-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. New England will be his 9th NFL team.
Dobbs began his career in Pittsburgh. He did not play during his rookie season and saw limited action off the bench in 2018.
