Jahdae Walker faces an uphill battle trying to make an NFL roster as an undrafted rookie. In his NFL preseason debut, Walker made a case for why he’s deserving of an opportunity.
In preseason action for the Chicago Bears against the Miami Dolphins, Walker was the team’s leading receiver, recording 3 catches for 41 yards and a touchdown. The TD called for his classic “Jubi Slide” celebration, a hit with NFL fans.
According to Bears insider Adam Jahns, Sunday’s performance capped what has been a strong week for Walker.

Walker knows all about having to prove himself. His college career began at Division II Grand Valley State. After 2 seasons, he made the jump to DI, landing at Texas A&M. In 2 seasons with the Aggies, Walker played in all 26 games, collecting 935 receiving yards on 64 receptions with 4 touchdowns.
Up next, the Chicago Bears host the Buffalo Bills for their next preseason contest. We’ll see if Walker can turn in another strong performance and continue his push for a spot in the receiver rotation.
