Joe Burrow on the wrong end of NFL Playoff record in Bengals vs. Titans
By Kevin Duffey

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals escaped Nashville with a 19-16 win over the Tennessee Titans in the NFL Divisional Playoffs, thanks to rookie Evan McPherson’s 4 field goals.
However, Cincinnati’s offensive line was an absolute mess. As of Sunday, no quarterback had been sacked more times in one playoff game than Burrow. The Titans sacked Burrow an astounding 9 times Saturday, and Burrow undoubtedly got beat up. That tied an NFL Playoff record, and it’s the first time that a team has allowed 9 sacks and won a playoff game.

Burrow is likely going to need an ice bath on Sunday. He took an absolute beating by the Titans. However, he still finished 28-of-37 for 348 yards. Ja’Marr Chase finished with 5 catches for 109 yards.
Moving forward, should the Bengals get Burrow some offensive line help, Cincinnati has the pieces to make a serious run over the next several years.
The Bengals advance to the AFC Championship Game and will face the winner of the Bills and Chiefs.
