There were some scary moments at MetLife Stadium after New York Giants top draft pick Kayvon Thibodeaux went down off a cut block by Cincinnati Bengals tight end Thaddeus Moss.
Thibodeaux was playing on the left end and Moss came around from an H-back position and blocked Thibodeaux low.

He waived off the cart and was able to walk off under his own power ?

After waving off the cart, Thibodeaux stayed on the sidelines and looked like he was in good spirits — hopefully a sign that the injury wasn’t serious.

Still the Giants decided to rule him out for the remainder of the game and likely the rest of the preseason.
Thibodeaux was fifth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft after having a standout career at Oregon where he was a unanimous All-American in 2021 and a two-time All Pac-12 First team performer.
Moss helped LSU win the CFP National championship in 2019 after starting his college career at N.C. State. He signed with the Washington Football Team as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and is currently with the Bengals on a futures/reserve contract. His father is Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss.
