Matthew Berry, the long-time ESPN top fantasy sports personality, officially announced his new role with NBC Sports this week.

Berry appeared on camera at the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio as part of NBC’s “Football Night in America” broadcast team.

The network sent out a press release that spelled out when Berry will be doing for the network and on its Peacock stream service.

“Berry will bring his football expertise to viewers throughout the NFL season with a weekly game-day fantasy football and sports betting show every Sunday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. ET on Peacock and NBC Sports digital platforms,” the release said. “On weekdays throughout the NFL season, Berry will create a daily show on Peacock, discussing notable fantasy football and sports betting topics.

Last month Matthew Berry surprised many when he announced his exit from ESPN after 15 years together.

Berry was ESPN’s senior fantasy sports analyst and arguably the most well-known name among fantasy football pundits. Upon announcement of his departure Berry suggested he was interested in opportunities beyond what ESPN could offer.

Berry sent out a video through his personal Twitter account.

“Here’s a crazy sentence that I never thought I would say…I’m joining the cast of ‘Football Night in America’.”

Berry confirmed he will be writing and bringing back the RotoWorld website as well.

So fans are you excited to see what kind of content Matthew Berry and NBC Sports can produce?
